Job Description:

Assists engineers and performs general to complex technical assignments from sketch or blueprint. Searches, investigates, and selects technical reference data pertinent to a project. Prepares preliminary sketches and design drawings , engineering specifications, and reports for approval. Documents activities thoroughly and follows genral instructions and standard procedures. Performs routine to moderately complex design taasks requiring the operation and application of computer aided design equipment such as a digitizer, plotter, CRT, and associated peripheral equipment. Utilizes standard digitizing and CAD design techniques, skills, design rules, and specifications to prepare design for drawing generation, determines scales, perform mathematical calculations, and prepares layouts, renditions, variations, and similar applications. Maintains technical coordination with engineering and customer design staff personnel.
