Thermal Resource Sales Inc provides engineered pump and heat transfer skids specifically designed for the application. We work closely with the engineer and end user to integrate customer preference into the skid where possible. Below is an example of a typical job.

Skid 1 – Condenser Water/Process Cooling Heat Exchanger

• Very limited floor space, two story heat transfer/packaged pumping skid
• 100% redundancy
• 1,500 gpm process cooling water, 750 gpm condenser water, 750 gpm chilled water
• Vertical split case pumps save valuable floor space
• Remote jobsite location
• Skid concept saved valuable field labor time and expenses

Skid 2 – Primary / Secondary Chilled Water - Primary/Secondary Chilled Water and Process Cooling Water

• Multiple use backup pumps decrease total pump quantity (skid is engineered such that single pump can serve both chilled water and process water side)
• 1,400 gpm chilled water, 500 gpm process water
• Modularized for future expansion
• PLC controller with touchscreen display (various levels of security lockout)
• 150 hp VFDs
• Factory tested and programmed to minimize field set-up time

Skid 3 – Triplex Heat Exchanger/Pump Package

• Process cooling water, chilled water, condenser water
• Vertical split case pumps minimize floor space while provided large capacities
• 10,500 gpm cooling water (total capacity)
• Three (3) plate and frame heat exchangers each rated for 2,100 gpm
• Each heat exchanger weighs 11,000 lbs dry
• Expandable (total future design is for (5) heat exchangers)
• 30” supply and return main headers
• Unit shipped in three (3) pieces; over 55’ long and 15’ wide

Skid 4 – Specialty Filter Package

Customer water quality problems resulted in reduced discharge water quantities

Solution – buy an engineered skid from TRS that addresses customer’s needs

• 50 micron automatic tower water filter (various micron screens available)
• VERY low backwash water volume compared to sand or media filters
• Total backwash volume is less than 10% of total flowrate through filter
• Custom built to easily install in existing system
